I have Brabants in my family tree also . I am looking for Information on the family of Peter Brabant his wife was named Jane? and she was of native blood. They had four children; Philomena (my great grandmother)
Frances,Lester, and Joseph.
Philomena was reported to have been born in Kingston , Ontario. She married my paternal g.grandfather Isador Boucher about 1880 or so so she would have been born in the early 1860's perhaps. Could this be the Joseph Brabant that is your ancestor? If so any info you can supply on this famly would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. David Busha(Boucher)
