My great-great grandmother was Mary Donnely from Forkhill Parish....around Co. Armagh...near Drogheda in Co. Louth.....Her parents were Patrick Donnelly and Margaret Byrnes....Mary married Andrew mcCann who was also from the same parish in Ireland....the families had settled in Westport, Ontario, Canada around 1840.....They had several children...one of which was my great grandfather, Peter, who actually married and settled in Mt. Pleasant, MI....However, he mentions Donnelly's in his diary...and visited many.....some in Wisconsin......There must be a conncection....Please E-Mail me!
