I signed up for a DNA test to see what other Donnelly familys I could match and I have to say it is really interesting to find who we are connected to by blood.However given that the Donnelly surname is so numerous there are so few results compared to other family groups doing the same tests. What I am trying to do is drum up more male Donnelly participents as the more there are the better. The company doing the tests are FTDNA and the results page can be reached at:

If you are considering doing it the best test to go for is the 37 marker test it is the best value for money and gives a better idea of genetic distance.I do not work for the company so I cannot answer any quires you may have, best contact them directly.
