Frank Joseph Donnelly who wed Catherine Shields had 5 sons according to the 1920 census: James A., Morris T., Frank J., Gordon G., and Laurence F.
Frank J. who wed Catherine Shields was the son of James A. Donnelly and Anna Rebecca Sables. He was born 24 Feb 1882 and baptized 13 March 1882 at St. Brigid's Catholic Church in Baltimore. His godparents were John Clark and Sarah Brown. Frank made his First Communion at St. Brigid's on June 11, 1893.
His father James A. Donnelly died suddenly on October 7, 1896 at the age of 57 years.
His mother Anna Rebecca Sables Donnelly died on 1 February 1912 after a short illness. Her death certificate says she was born 7 November 1847 in Baltimore but her age on the 1850 census is 10. She was buried in New Cathedral Cemetery. The causes of death were arteriosclerosis (2 years duration) and cardiac exhaustion (4 days duration).
James Donnelly ( a non-Catholic) and Anna Rebecca Sable/Sables were married 4 February 1861 in St. Brigid's Catholic Church. Witnesses were J. Donnelly and Mary Donnelly.
Catherine Shields was the daughter of Morris and Nellie Shields according to the 1910 census.
