Donlan/Donlon/Donnellan/"Black Garden" Galway

I'm looking for information about some Donlan/Donlon/Donnellan ancestors, reportedly from Galway.

Family lore says: "Charles Donlan, gentleman farmer, married the beautiful Charlotte Burke. Their estate was Black Garden in Galway. Their children, Mary Anne, Charles, John, Harriet and Margaret. Mary Anne brought Margaret to USA. Mary Anne m. Charles Fulton, Margaret m. Thomas McDonnell [of a Cork family]. Margaret and Thomas had Charlotte Elizabeth, who m. Charles Mullins in Bridgeport, CT." Charlotte was my great-grandmother; 1900 census records list her birth as 1872 in Connecticut.

I'd be grateful for any information about the family's Irish background. Thanks, Jim M.
