We have just learned just little more about our Dolan and Norton (Naughton) lines in County Roscommon, Ireland. We are seeking information on James Norton (b. 1812, County Roscommon, Ireland) and his wife Anne Dolan (b. 1813, County Roscommon, Ireland). With this new research some new names were discovered and we hope some descendent of the Norton/Naughton....Dolan. Bannon and Elliott lines can help us out.
Results from St Peter's and Drum Athlone Baptismal Records from 1830 to 1847.....

Baptized on 9 November 1846, James, the son of James Naughton and Anne Dolan....John and Rose Naughton stood as James's sponsors. (Son's middle intial was "C.")

No record was found for Roseann Norton born 16 December 1837...daughter of James Naughton and Ann Dolan. Other children born in America were Katherine (1850) and Charles (1854) in Lebanon Springs, New York and Louisa (1858) in Galesburg, Illinois.
It appears that Ann Dolan, daughter of Timothy Dolan was from Ballymullavill, which is in the Civil and Catholic Parish of Kiltoom, immediately north and adjacent to the Roman Catholic Parish of St. Peter's and Drum Athlone, County Roscommon, Ireland.
We have just found out that James (Norton) Naughton's middle intial was "M."
We hope descendants of the Norton and Dolan lines can help us find the history of our ancestors.
