My name is John Boyce. The "Thomas Boyce's" named in this obit are my grandparents. Mrs Thomas Boyce was the former Mary Donegan, sister to James and Daniel Donegan, Last wednesday , May 24th, 2006 , in a farmhouse in Ireland, I sat talking to Jack and Josie Donegan. Jack is 88 years young and the nephew of Mary, James, and Daniel Donegan. I also took a picture of the 2 room farmhouse where Mary, James, and Daniel were born.
When I was a child in the 1950s , I can remember my grandmother talking about her friends, the Aherns, The Boyces, Donegans and Aherns all came from Ballyagran/Charleville , Co. Limerick, Ireland. between 1901 and 1910 through Ellis Island to Stratford , Connecticut,
