John we are looking up James Donegan whose mother was a Margaret Ryan and Married to James Donegan The son James Donegan was born in 1795 in Ireland somewhereJames was the father of Thomas Donegan father of Martha Donegan my husbands grandmother.She was born in Dickson Tennessee in1850. Tom was born in 1817 (where?) I don't know how the researcher found outt that James was the father without knowing where Thomas was born but somehow he or she did but this has left us with big gaps. Anyway there might be some tiein here with these names. The chadwick name comes in from Martha marrying a Jacob Chadwick in 1867. Hope this leads to some discoveries about the genealogy of these families! Jeanette of Calif.
