DONAIS/DELAUNAY/DONER Antoine; 1813 on; Mackinac & Cheboygan Area in Michigan

My great & great-great grandfathers were both Antoine's. Donais is ONE of the many spellings; others are Delonie, Delonay, Delonoy, Delonais, Delanory, Delaunais, Dolinis, Delannay, Donet, Dellone, Doaner, Donor, Donner, DONER (each 'verified' in documents.) The only thing that stays the same is 'Antoine'. My gg-grandfather was b. abt. 1814-1815; possibly (but not proven) Quebec. He married (in Mackinac, Michigan) a Harriet Gifford (aka Margarith Griffith; Margarittoe Grifface)also b. abt1813. They had at least 2 children, Elizabeth/Isabellam Doner 1833, and my g-grandfather Antoine 1835.

Does any of this connect anyone??
Best Regards,
Judy King
