I don't know if there is a connection but it sounds as if there may be.

I have several John Donohoo (this is how the original settlers spelled the name although it changed several times over the years) John married three times. His first wife was Susannah Mahala Hagan, was his second wife was Helen Edelen, his third wife was Anne Wheeler.

He had children by all three wives. His father was also John Donohoo and his mother was Nancy Ann Unknown. His father settled in Nelson County, Kentucky. It is possible that the connection you are looking for is in this area. There was a Brother to JOhn whose name was James, he married Elizabeth Pickerell. But there are so many other brothers and sisters who lived in this area at the time you are searching there may be a connection.

If you are interested in more information please contact me on my direct e-mail address

I seldom have time to check this site.
