I am looking for any and all information about the Donahey in Tuscarawas county, ohio.
I do know that the lineage migrated to Ohio from Pennsylania in the first year of statehood (1803). John C. Donahey (Catherine Chaney) they had three sons, Alvin Victor b. 1873 d. 1946 and was a governor of Ohio; Hal, later a cartoonist for the Cleveland Plain Dealer; and William, a famed cartoonist who moved to Chicago.
Alvin Victor married Mary Edith Harvey (of Dover, Ohio) in 1897 and they had 12 children, many I can track the lineage to.
