Dear sirs,

My grandfather was called William Donaghy ...he was born in Motherwell...but descended from family in Co Tyrone.

He joined the British Army and married a lady called Shanahan in Co Cork where my father was born(in 1920).

I live in Luton, England. I am an R/C priest and a secondary school teacher in London.

I do not know if we are related or if this is any use to you. Get in touch if you need....but say 'family tree' in the subject index so I won't delete it as junk mail.

Greeting and best wishes,

Fr Michael J. Donaghy B.D. P.G.C.E.
