Donaghy Family

I am searching for my GGG grandfather, Patrick Donaghy. He was born in 1812, and left Co. Armagh when he was 12 with 2 older brothers named Edward and Richard, and with 1 sister named Jane. He came to Ontario Canada. He married Eleanor Topping on 19 Nov. 1835, and died on 16 Dec. 1894. What I do know is that he was Anglican. He and his brothers and sister had their names changed to Dancy when they came through immegration, because that is what their names sounded like to the workers there. His first name was also changed from Patrick to Pockrage/Pockrich. When he came to Canada, he worked on a farm for Squire DeLong, near Elgin, Leeds, Ontario Canda. He also drew limestone blocks from Elgin Quarry to Jones Falls for building locks and a horseshoe dam on the Rideau Canal. He had 7 children with his wife, Eleanor. Their names were John, Edward, Jane, Elizabeth, Rachel, Almeda and Sarah. What I am looking for, is who his parents were, if he had any other siblings, when his birth date was, exactly, and any other information that is out there. If anyone can help me with this, I would be very grateful! Thanks, Lin Hendrickson stormylin24@hotmail.com
