Mary Kaye,
My great grandfather and his brother lived in the eastern part of the Choctaw Indian Territory close to Fort Smith AR in the late 1800's. Their names were Jasper Newton Donaghe and George Washington Donaghe. Although Jasper Newton's descendents have been traced, all of George's have not. Grorge Washington Donaghe was born in 1851. He had four children by his first wife and they would have been of an age to have married and to have children in the late 1800's and earlly 1900's. His children were Clyde, J. N., Fanny and George Donaghe. These children may have been born in either Poteau or Red Oak. I believe there is a pretty good chance at least some of your Donaghe's may be related to these Donaghes. Did the census information for Ida give her husbands name? I am trying to get census information on all of George Washington Donaghe's descendents.
Please don't throw those pictures away.
Bob Donaghe
