Found their father's lineage, back to ~1620, in Prussia (Hamburg, Wilster, Bergerdorf). Hermann's father was Georg Michael von Holten, a Hamburg tobacco importer who sent Hermann to the Dominican Republic to manage the supply side.

Could still use help with Hermann's first wife's ancestry.
