What region of the Dominican Republic are the Valerio's from? My grandfathers name was Ramon Vilorio, from El Seibo, which is on the eastern region of the country. I know that the Vilorio surname is of Spanish background and that the were very well know property owners with links to Pedro Santana who was at one time the president of the nation. Who knows, maybe we are talking about the same people. I'm searching for Valera, Vilorio, Senda/De Senda, Santana from El Seibo, Tamarez from San Cristobal, Martinez from San Juan and Mota from Miche'. If you happen to know anyone with these surnames, please get in contact with me. If your from the capital city, or from el Cibao, then maybe I woul be able to help you out as far as the Pena family. They are originally from El Cibao, from the San Francisco De Macoris sector and from Santiago De Los Caballeros. The Pena's are prominent in New York, Florida and some still live in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Good luck, and may God bless you as well. Notify Administrator about this message?
