I was wondering if someone out there might be able to help me find the ancestors of my late grandfather - Landon Francis William DeBarea. His mother was taken advantage of at the age of 13 which resulted in his birth in Iowa in 1876.
My grandfather's death certificate lists his father's last name only - "DeBarea". His mother - Julia Hass - was from Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
I would also like help locating my uncle who disappeared in 1948, at the age of 24. He hasn't been seen since. His birth name is Elmer L. DeBarea. He sometimes went by the first name of "Allen". If he's still living, he'd be 88 years old now.
Would like to know if he's still alive and/or if he had a wife and kids.
Any help you can give on either of these requests would be greatly appreciated.
