The only other information I have re: George Dom, Jr. is that his mother, Mary Korns Shaffer Dom Morgan is buried in Cooks Cemetery above Wellerburg, PA and died Feb 3, 1889 at age 61 (born approximately 5/1827). According to my uncle's information, she had two children by the unknown Dom - Amy Cadelia Dom (born 4-21-1858) and my greatgrandfather, George William Dom, Sr. (born 2/6/1861). I guess there is always the possibility that she had more children or that her husband had siblings. My grandfather, Jesse Dom, and his twin sister, Lizzie, were born in 1890 in Wellersburg, PA. Lizzie died at age 5 from diptheria but my grandfather spent his life in Wellersburg until he married my grandmother and moved to Cumberland around 1915.

I have some census information from 1830 that lists some of the Dom's in Somerset County. One of those listed is actually Ellen Dom (which happens to be my maiden name), born 1852 to Phillip Dom, Jr. and Margaret (Gerhardt) Dom, both of whom were born in Germany. According to the census info, she married M. Harrison Null. Could this be your Ella?
