J. E. Dollinger-NC-Civil War
Posted by: Wally Jarrell Date: July 14, 2001 at 14:34:41

I am looking for information on a J. E. Dollinger who enlisted in Co. M, 22nd Regt. NC Troops in July 1864, and was killed at Reams Station, VA, 25 Aug. 1864. I think he may have been John Dollinger, who was married in Ashe Co., NC, in 1849 to Elizabeth Caldwell. Can anyone confirm this or provide other information for him? I am writing a book on Co. M, 22nd Regt. and need biographical info for each soldier.
