Thank you for your information, first I would like to discuss the name Dollery.
Dollery's around the world today number about 5-600 at the most. It is of my opinion from research done by myself, my hard working direct relatives and numerous others that there is a common ground from where wecame from, and to where we are going.
It appears that the name came originally came from France to England, direct from Normandy during the tourist season of 1066.
My point is that the Dollery name appears to come originally from a small group of dollery's and expanded from that point to where we are today.
I have decided that on behalf of the dollery name, that someone should set up a common Dollery association to ensure that we the Dollery's and our future generations have an understanding of where we came from, and who they may be related to.
My proposal is that I set up a main registration center at my e-mail andmailing address to coordinate incoming information. The Dollery's in each regions of England, France, Normandy, Canada, USA, South Africa, Australia and elswhere can send me what information they have so I can have record of theDollery families, then we grow from there.
I would like the opinion of all dollery's on my plan no matter what country they live in at present.
Knowing that the Dollery's take their time to get things done and nobody can rush them, I would appreciate receiving their information no later than October 31st 2000.
My E-mail address is [email protected] Fax 1-604 299-1981Mailing address P.O.Box 44075 Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada V5B 4Y2. Phone Number will be given when I receive the replies.
Thank you
Frederic Warren Dollery
PS. I have records of Dollery's back to the 1500's
