My husband's grandfather was Wade Dollarhide. The family has always thought he was born in 1882 to James M Dollarhide and Elizabeth Jane "Lizzie" Roberts. The only DOBs I can find for James are all 1870 and for Lizzie, 1872. That would make Wade's parents 12 and 10 at the time of his birth...and 5 years before they were married. I can find one date of Wade being born in 1888 (one year after they married) which would make sense, but all family documentation lists his birth as 1882. If anyone knows how I can get this figured out, I'd love to hear it!
