I noticed on my 1880 land plat that there was a W. Dollarhide Sr. that held a lot of land in Hickory Co., MO. He settled in Hickory Co., MO in 1837, and was a native of Scott Co., VA, according to the book. It says that he was a Farmer, Stock Raiser and Dealer. Also, there was a W. R. Dollarhide that had some land there.
I am no relation, just ran across this in my plat book.
