Elizabeth Butcher was the wife of Andrew Dollarhide, brother of James D. and Asahel Dollarhide. All three were sons of John and Nancy Chittington Dollarhide. John is the Rev War soldier who is buried with wife Nancy and grandson Cornelius near Diboll, Angelina County, Texas, on their old plantation site.
Elizabeth was born in 1808 in Lawrence County, Missouri. Elizabeth and Andrew were married in 1823 in Arkansas Territory. She divorced Andrew in Nov 1839 on grounds of desertion. She married George McLendon on May 26, 1848.
George was born in 1810 in Tennessee.
Elizabeth died July 16, 1897 in Chapel Hill (now DeQueen), Sevier County. Her obituary was in the DeQueen Bee newspaper.
