My records indicate that Matilda was the daughter of Andrew Dollarhide and Elizabeth Butcher. Andrew was the son of Old John Dollarhide and Nancy Chittington.

Matilda was born in 1824 in Sevier County, Arkansas, and died between 1850-1854 in Monroe Township, Sevier County, AR. Some records said she died in 1852. She and John P. Stroud were married on March 9, 1843, in Sevier County, and had three children: Nancy Elizabeth Jane, b. 1844; Rebecca, b. 1846; and William L., b. 1849.

I did not find her in the Little River Cemetery Book, so she probably is buried in Sevier County.
