According to Carl Dollarhide, Jr.'s book, here is the information about Nancy's original family:
Father Asahel (Asa) Dollarhide, son of John Dollarhide and Nancy Chittington. John and Nancy are buried near Diboll, TX. Asa was born abt 1795 in VA; died 23 Mar 1845 in Sevier County, AR. He was a farmer, surveyor for roads, and Methodist. He was said to be a river Keel Boat Captain and a bear hunter.
About 1813 he married Hannah Bunham (Burnham?) probably in TN.
Children:
1) John (Jr.) Dollarhide, born abt 1814 in NC or TN, died bef 1849 in LA or TX.
2) James (Jim) Dollarhide, born abt 1815.
3) Rebecca Dollarhide, born abt 1818.
4) ? (female) Dollarhide, born abt 1818 in TN, died bef 1840
probably in Sevier County, AR.
5) Manerva Dollarhide, born abt 1820 in now Bowie County, TX.
6) Andrew (Andy) Dollarhide, born 18 Jun 1825.
7) Cornelius (Neil) Dollarhide, born 18 Jun 1825 (twins)

Carl's book has quite a bit more about each one of these children and their descendants. I'd suggest you write his widow at the following address and ask her to make you a copy of the book for a fee:
