Nancy, I have had a lot of queries about your JACOB DOLL and I am not sure if he fits into my Doll family.Yes, I have Doll family in Montogmery Co., PA. and I have a Christian Doll/Dull who had a son, Jacob Doll, who was born in 1775 and died before 1820.The source of this information comes from a DAR application which listed the Bible records of Christian Doll.If your Jacob Doll was born in 1784 and born in Montogmery Co., PA., there is a JOHN DOLL, son of Frederick Doll who had three sons in the age category of under age 16 yrs in the 1790 census.Your Jacob Doll would be 6 years old in the 1790 census. This John Doll in Montgomery Co., PA is the son of Frederick, Sr. and Elizabeth Doll of Plymouth Twp.John married Ann Streeter and he died sometime after 1802.I have that date, but have misplaced it, at the moment.
I did find another JOHN DOLL in the 1800 census living in Hamilton Twp. of Northampton Co., PA. who had a son in the age category of your Jacob.Hamilton Twp. is now located in Monroe Co.Then, in 1810, there is a Jacob Doll in Hamilton Township, who is in the age category 16-26 which makes his birth year between 1784-1800.He is married and his wife's age is in the same age range as Jacob's.Theyhave two boys and two girls, all under age ten years.Perhaps this Jacob Doll is a son of John Doll from the same township?Wish I could be of more help.I will contact you again if I find anything that proves this John Doll is your Jacob's father.I would like to know who this John Doll is myself.
