DOLL family in Indiana
Although the Doll family is not a direct line for me, I couldn't resist copying some information I found. After all, someone in my family married a Doll.... which makes the Doll family kin.Right? What I have covers the John and Theresa Sauer Doll family. There is a note that says"This family came to America 9 May 1831 and settled on a farm in Ripley County Indiana about one and a half miles from Morris, Indiana."Before John it shows that this branch came from Herlikofen, Germany. Just glancing, I see dates back into the early 1700's.
Also, if anyone has an Ursula Doll who married Anton Rahe as an ancestor..... There is information on their descendants as well, and information on the family of Leona Pulskamp Doll.
If anyone is interested, I found this information at the library in Batesville, Ripley County, Indiana. Altogether, maybe 100+ sheets.I don't know if the library will make copies or not.You can try.
Otherwise, if you email me, I can let you know if I can find certain names or dates for you.I would love to find information like this in my family tree.
Good Luck!
