A John Doig, age 2, appears in the 1851 Burntisland census, son of James and Eliza Doig. This was James Doig who married Elizabeth Tawse on 10 July 1826 in Edinburgh. James and family left in Feb 1855 on the "Athletoe" for Australia. James died in Victoria in 1867. I have the family history is you send e-mail to <ken@doig.net>
