I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and have relatives who came from Germany. My great great grandfather was Martin Dohn from Neidenthal, Germany. He was married to Magdaline Gratz also from Neidenthal. They had a son Charles. We are trying to find the other brothers who were supposed to have come over with him, but went on to New York. We heard that one of them had an awning business there. Charles married Mary Berie and had Louis, Mary, Charles, Leo, William, Ruth, and Nina and lived on Fleming Ave. on the North Side of Pgh. PA 15212. There are also other Dohns in the area who we are trying to find out if they were also related to us. That family also had a William who married a Carrie like ours. His father came from Germany and was John Dohn, born on March 15, 1861 and married Madeline Wehaunt (not sure of that spelling) also born in Germany. They all lived within blocks of each other. Hope this helps and we can connect our families. Bill and Fran Dohn
