Donald, would you have any idea who Ellen's parents and sibblings may have been.

I ask because I have Neil Doherty and his wife Mary(?)I think, from County Cork. They had 3 daughters Bridget, Ellen and Mary.

I do know that Bridget m John F O'Donnell also from Co Cork, but they married in Carndonagh Co Donegal Jan 1881, and immigrated to MA April 1881. John F. parents were
John O'Donnell and Elizabeth Carney.

They I know without dobut were cousins to my grandmother and her sibblings. They were born in Co Donegal around the Carndonagh, Glenmakee, Tieleague areas, to James O'Donnell and Susan White Doherty. James and Susan had both been born around 1840-45. James in Glenmakee I now think and Susan ???, I do know they married around 1865/66 at Sacred Heart Church in Carndonagh. Their children were Patrick, John, Mary Ann(later my grandmother) Maggie, Neal, Denis, and Philip.

I also know that most if not all immigrated to MA

You I think mentioned Haverhill Ma. Haverhill isn't that far from Malden, Peabody, Salem MA or for that matter Boston.

Thank you Any help would be appreciated. I've been trying to learn if Mary and Ellen immigrated, who they married, children etc.

Barbara
