Dear Mr. Morgan,
Thank you for responding to my query about Thomas Doggett. I've been abstracting the Stafford County militia records and have come across a number of men with whom I was not familiar. During the mid to late 19th century there were Doggetts living in Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania County, but I know little about them. Since Culpeper is so close, there is likely a connection with those folks.
