I am seeking information on Sarah Pitman's burial location. She is the wife of the Thomas Lee Doggett that was previously posted below. Any information you could provide on their marriage and Sarah's death and burial would be greatly appreciated.
"I am seeking court or church records pertaining to the marriage of Thomas Lee Doggett to Sarah Pitman on December 21, 1830 in Lancaster County, VA. The ceremony was supposedly officiated by a cousin, Rev. Cyrus Doggett and was witnessed by Mary L. Hinton and Cyrus Hazard
I am also seeking court or church records of a second marriage of Thomas Lee Doggett to Jane Manor (or Maynor) on September 15, 1842 in Platte County, MO
If anyone is interested Thomas Lee Doggett is buried in the Linwood Cemetery (near "Beebeetown", Iowa) in Magnolia Township, Harrison County, Iowa (near Council Bluffs, Iowa). Thomas Lee was the founder of Doggetteville, Iowa (all that remains is the Lincoln Cemetery in Polk County, Iowa)."
