I'm going to add this response I made to another Doerr thread since your one ancestor was born in Offenbach in the 1790's before moving on to Russia. My ancestor was born there in 1791, so maybe there's a connection.
Just last night see I have an ancestor, Elizabetha Dörr (which would have been changed to Doerr here). She married a Johannes Adam Pfalzer and their daughter Maria Barbara Pfalzer married my great-great grandfather Johannes Joseph Karch in Offenbach in 1815. Maria Barbara was born in 1794, Johannes Joseph was born in 1781. They then lived in Insheim and my Metz family is descended from them. The Metzes ultimately emigrated to Cincinnati, Ohio in the mid 1860's.
