Philipp Doerr b. 1853-Kassel/Cassel,Russia m. Christine Melhaff in 1876 Kassel. To this union was born: George-1876, Catharina-1877, Therese-1878, Christoph-1879, Johann-1883, Theresa-1885, and Lydia-1888. Lydia married Johann Treftz/Trefz on January 22,1908 in Sophienthal, South Russia. Lydia and Johann came to the US in May of 1911 aboard the SS Hanover arriving in Philidelphia with two children: Christina b.1908 and Lydia b.1909. Lydia and John lived the remainder of their life in McIntosh County, North Dakota. If anyone can find a connection please contact me. Would like to share any information.
