The Zebulon Doe that you speak of is the son of Zebulon and Sarah (Hardy) Doe, but my information is that he married Betsey Miller Clark. I show his older brother, Theophilus, b. 1 May 1772, Durham, NH as marrying Mary "Polly" Bowden, on 26 Aug. 1802. There is no William in this family so far as I know. I think I know the Hilton Doe you speak of. I have acquired info. on him in my various research trips in the Midwest, but have so far not been able to connect him to the Nicholas Doe line. I will check my records more completely over the weekend and see if your info. sheds any new light on the subject.
