Does anyone have info about the 1st Does in America? My husband's mother's family has one about the Doe and Grant families comming up the Kennebec River (in Maine), after landing in the new world. I have a Phylenia A. Grant(Doe)Dyer b. 1830
m. to Benjamin Dyer(1832)- their dau. Mary Grant Dyer (1862) m. Walter Parker Campbell(1859) in 1883.
Anyone recognize these names???
