I am an Englishman living in USA. My name being J. Doe has created a few laughs, something I never knew about back in UK, and a lot of people dont believe me when I go to use my credit card. Can any one out there tell me how it was decided that "J DOE" would be used for un identified corpses, I would love to know. I would also be interested to find other 'Doe's" From the 'Essex' area in the Uk that live or lived in the USA> Thanxz
