I would also like whatever information you have on the Doe family in China that is not mentioned in the book. I am also thinking that Henry may be the father of my William, but still need to prove it. I do not have any information on Augustus McLaughlin, but I am sure he is some how related to my McLaughlin's from China...I just haven't followed all the children. Most of my information is relating to McLaughlin's born 1735-1799 and direct ancestors. By the later half of the 1800's there were a lot of McLaughlins (most related to each other) in the China area. I will pull to gether some of what I have and send it to you. The Tracy Doe intrigued me, as she appears to be the first wife of my gr-gr-gr-grandfather Charles McLaughlin...and may be a relative on both sides of my family. If you find out any other information on the Doe's or Mclaughlin...let me know. Thanks!
