Edwin A. Fletcher, b 9 Aug 1832; and wife Phebe R. Doe, were married 27 Feb 1859 at China, Kennebec, Maine. Edwin's father Franklin P. Fletcher b 15 May 1808 and wife Maria S. Arnold were married 1 Sep 1831 at Weeks Mill, Kennebec, Maine They had 6 children that I am aware of: Mary A. born 4 Apr 1829, Edwin A. born 9 Aug 1832, Charles R. born 6 May 1834, Julia E. born 12 Oct 1836, Olive M. born 2 Jun 1843 at Waltham, Hancock, Maine, Francis W. born 19 Sep 1845
Frank P. Fletcher doctor of medicine from 1829 to 1850, son of Colonel Robert Fletcher, of China, practiced at Weeks Mills the last years of his life. Grad of Brunswich Medical School, and had practiced in Hope, Maine.
I don't know if Edwin and Phebe had any children or anything about the Doe family. My only resource of information is the internet as I live in Japan. Am interested in finding other Fletcher's and Does in the Maine area.
