Not quite 1st Does to America, but some of them to the 'New World'.

Samuel Daniel James DOE (b c.1820) married Catherine Mary DICKINSON on 15 January 1846. Their son John Davis DOE married Leanora Augusta RICHARDS. John & Leanora had three daughters, Rosamund Augusta (b 4 Apr 1870), Ethel, and Dora. Rosamund Augusta DOE is my g.grandmother.

These people are from St Vincent, British Guiana (now Guyana) and Trinidad in the West Indies. Planters and King's Army for the most part.
