My gradmother, b. 2/6/1878, d. August 21, 1976, was a Mabel Doe. She married Fred Goldsmith, b. 2/4/1871, d. 11/16/1952. Her parents were Richard Doe, who had a brother named John Doe, and other siblings. He married Emaline Huff. They lived in New York State, near Binghimton. I believe. Richard and Emaline came from England. Doubt if this helps but you never know.
