Your request for information is quite old and seems unanswered. "descendents of Nicholas Doe, page 169 lists John Doe 4. as residing in Vassalboro. Daughter Betsy is listed as married to Edward House. (June 17, 1810) The usual information is Followed by a copy of the deed to the Doe Property along the Kennebec River. etc. etc. "except what is promised to Thomas Pilsberry"
About the time I left Winslow, Maine and joined the Navy I seem to remember that someone told Dad about a home in Vassalboro, on the "Augusta" road that had an old Doe cemetary and it seemed to have filled some of the missing links. My Grandfather helped write "the book" Perhapse this is a second marriage. Dudley Doe 4 also lived in vassalboro and had a daughter Betsy born in 1783. when you go back to the third generation theie are unnamed "daughters" but no Betsy.
