Jerry, I saw you message. I am currently engaged to a Michael Doe from Saxilby, Lincoln England. His parents are Janet and Derrick Doe, father was John Doe, all from that same area. Don't know much about the Doe family line though. I have the same response when I mention Mike's g-father as being John Doe. My last name being Loyd I do have to spell it quite a bit and assure people that yes it only has one L! I am searching the Doe name out of curiosity to see if they have any direct relatives in the States. My main line I am researching is Beal. If you want to chat or swap "Doe" information let me know.
