Alice Louisa Doe b. 22.8.1887 & Mabel Doe were 2 of 23 children of Thomas Doe born 4.7.1844 d. 21.12.1918 Shirley England. Alice's mother was Mary Ann Dowsett d. 1.12.1894 Shirley England, and lived in Canada where she apparently owned a Mink Farm. Her half sister Mabel's mother was Mary Ann Kingswood who married Thomas Doe 3.7.1895 in Shirley, Eng.

Thomas' children from his first marriage were: Thomas, Henry, George, Charlotte Elizabeth, Elizabeth Johanna, Charles Thomas, Mary Ann, Peter, Thomas, Maria, Thomas Charles, Elizabeth Edith, Alice Louisa, Annie. From his second marriage: Winnie, Mabel, Leonard, Herbert, Sydney, Ernest, Alfred, Edith & Grace.
