No, I do not know about them living in Arkansas. Most early day pioneers to Texas did spend a few years in Arkansas as they migrated. Arkansas was a 'stepping stone' to Texas for the Southern pioneers....those who crossed Red River, and did not go up the river by boat. A male Estes in Claiborne Co., Tennessee married into the Dodson Family in the mid 1800's. Could they be yours? Regards, MaryE Notify Administrator about this message?
