I think your Orin Dodge could be a son of Ira Dodge and Hannah Mason In the 1850 census living in Argentine, Genesee Co. MI is a Harmon Dodge with his family. Next door to him is Ira Dodge age 50 born in Connection. I believe these are father and son. The only other Dodge family in Argentine is Orren Dodge and his wife Louisa, both born in New York
Ira was born in Plymouth CT to Ira Dodge abd his wife Mary Curtiss on May 7 1799. They to New York State after 1800 and finally seattled in Genesee Co. In 1830 Ira is in Genesee Co., NY with 1 male under 5 and 1 male under 10 1 female under 5 and 1 female under 10 and 1male and 1 felmale under 40.
