I've only just seen your message so sorry for the delay. I have the same wedding cert for James Dodds and Ellen Bootland (it is Bootland on the cert so interesting to hear she was a Boutland). James was the brother of my descendant Andrew Dodds 1833 Gateshead. Do you have any more info on James Dodds in particular his ancestors? I have his grandfather but nothing further back than that. I am happy to share what info on the Dodds I have with you.

Ref: Jam,es and Ellen, I have found 3 children for them: Andrew c1853; Hannah c1858 and James c1860, all Gateshead. Hannah married George Batey and I have made contact with a living Batey! I'd be interested to hear of any more info on this line.
