Dodds of Tarset -Northumberland
Posted by: Michael Abbott (ID *****0427) Date: January 10, 2008 at 01:30:40

Does anyone know the history or members of the Dodds family from Tarset, Northumberland. They were originally known as Dodd and built a pele tower in Tarset, they may later have settled in Falstone, Northumberland which is where they were baptised. I have traced my ancestry back to John Dodds and Margaret Robson who had a son Thomas in 1807 who was babtised in Falstone and went on to live in Bedlington, Nothumberland. My mother was Dorothy Dodds.
