I am also searching the line of Josiah Doddridge and Margaret McCoy. Their daughter Elizabeth married James Steele in Ohio, and had 2 children Amelia and James. Elizabeth then married Richard Hardison. In 1850 Hamilton County Ill, Elizabeth can be found as a widow living with another family and in the next household are Josias and Margaret Doddridge, aged 72 and 61. Looks like they were following Elizabeth and perhaps she was also living with a sister. Would love info on the other children of Josias and Margaret.
