I have a Philip Doddridge b. 1737, d. 1822 m. Mary Merricle or Bickerstaff. She was b. 1740 NY and d. 1825. Their children were, Hannah Doddridge b. 1778, d. 1838 m.. David Jenkins b. 1782, d. 1844 they had nine children (I don't know their names) Sabra Doddridge, b. 1781 d. 1818 m. John Spahr b, 1774, d. 1831 m. 1796, John Doddridge b. 1786, d. 1841, Rachel Doddridge b. 1787 PA. d. Oct. 1849 Washington Co., OR (She is my ancester and I have all the information on her and her families down.) Nancy Doddridge b. 1788, d. 1813 m. Benjamin Manchester Abt. 1805, b. 1786 d. 1859. Philp and Mary Doddridge had 3 or more children taken by the Indians. (I have conflicting stories on this)
I am in the process of putting together more information of Philip Doddridge's father but so far haven't had time to sort some of it out. If interested in it let me know.
Hope this helps some. The person who gave me this information got her information from the book Doddridge Chapel Community Pub. 1950 author Lurena Wright, so far I haven't located it.
